13 Organ Recital at St. Johns Klaus Kratzonsteln, professor of music at Rice University, will present an organ recital at St. John Lutheran Church, 305 Circle Ave., on Sunday evening, Feb. 21 at 7 : 30 p.m. A native of Germany, he was educated in Berlin and Vienna.- where he served as organist and choir director at the University Church. After comingtotheUnitedStates he taught at Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Michigan before going to tace University. He has traveled extensively in this country as a recitalist. His concert at St. John will include music from various periods and styles of. music. A regular feature of his organ recitals is an improvisation either in a contempory idiom or in a historical style. Mr. Becker, Director of Music at St. John, mentions that in presenting this recital, St. John Church wishes to make available to the community an opportunity to hear an outstanding artist. Fox, son of Mrs. Francis Fox of 943 Thomas Ave., was graduated from basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego. Fox is a 1070 graduate of Proviso East High School. Receives Degree Leonard E. Rychtane, 314 Lathrop Ave., received a B.S. .degree in business and economics from niinoislnstitute of Technology at mid-year commencement ceremonies December 22. A total of 460 degrees were awarded by the university. Included were 238 Bachelor of Science degrees, 152 Master of Science degrees and 70 doctorate degrees. The doctorate degrees included 38 Ph.D's and 32 Juris Doctor degrees to nT/Chlcago- Kent College of Law graduates. The honorable Louis B. Nunn, governor of Kentucky gave the commencement address. Discussion Topic For Sigma Pi lota Sigma Pi lota, an adult fellowship group at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, will meet tomorrow night (Feb. 19) at 8 p.m. to discuss the topic "Do you tMnk the church should be involved in demonstrations?"
