Berninger and the date 1918 carved on its under-shell, was found a few days ago by Edwin Knecht, son of Mr. and Mrs, Rendon Knecht, of Mifflinville. The turtle, which also bears the initials of Kay LeVan, of Mifflinville, and the date 1944, when it had been found by him, now sports a third set of initials, those of Edwin Knecht, and the date 1954.

It is on Pee-Wee Hill, near Mifflinville.
