funeral of the late Dr Morgan took plane yesterday afternoon There was a large gathering of friends and relatives at the residence on Prince street and the remains ere followed jo the Second Presbyterian Church where the funeral exercises opened promptly at 2 o'clock the Lurch being attended by very large congregation 'The service opened with the reading of the Presbyterian burial service by Rv 8 Scott tbe pastor and a large select choir with Frank Clark at the organ sang the favorite song of the deceased' Rev Dr 'Tho- Humes offered a fervent ami feeling prayer and some scripture selections were read by Rev Mr Hcott After which the choir sang in Jesus Mr Scott then delivered aq eloquent and fitting tribute to the character of the deceased who occupied each an exalted position
