Following a meeting of the East Pennsboro School Board held Thursday evening, it was revealed that the abandoned Oyster schoolhouse, near Oyster's Mills on the back road from Enola to Camp Hill, which has been vacant for the past four years, may not be disposed of as the board had expected. Murray Bretz, East Pennsboro Township, who purchased the land surrounding the school property some time ago, appeared at the meeting and claimed the land, ing to purchase the building. He purchased his farm from Abraham Orris, original purchaser from the Oyster estate. Fifty or sixty years ago the property on which the school stands was deeded to the board. This was done at the time the two-room school-house was built, with the understanding that it was to be used only! for school purposes, and that when the school board ceased to have a use for it.

the land would revert to the original owners. A condition of the deed was that the estate should pay a fair price, established bv a body of three viewers, for the building. The building was erected at the expense of the school board hi the time it reclaimed the land. missioner of Fisheries, J. Q.
