One of the many interesting oil studies included in the Federal Art Project, WPA, tyhich opened this afternoon at the State Museum, is Saul Berman's "Washington Square." The exhibit will be open until August 27. Berman, who was born in Russia in 1899 and studied at the Cooper Union, the National Academy of Design, and the Beaux Art Institute in New York City, has exhibited at such outstanding galleries as the Whitney Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, and the Corcoran Art Gallery in Washington. He received honorable mention at the Chicago Art Institute jn 1929.
