Cedardell Imperial, owned by James Holman and ridden by Pauline Holman, was successful in his debut into the horse show world, placing high in all of the 12 classes in which he entered, including the championships. Dianne Flynn, riding her purebred Arabian gelding IBN GENIAL, won the honor of reserve grand champion gelding and placed fifth in showmanship at halter. In Western pleasure maiden horse. Western pleasure mares and geldings and Western pleasure junior to ride she and her gelding placed second. She also placed third in Western pleasure junior horses. Susanne Flynn won a third place ribbon with the gelding in her showmanship at halter class. Carol Collins, riding her quarter horse Glo Bar Bob, was named all around high point youth champion in the annual Deep South Quarter Horse Circuit at Dublin, Ga. During the three-day event she placed third in showmanship. Western pleasure, showmanship at halter. Western horsemanship and reining, and first in Western horsemanship, youth western riding, reining, western riding all age, youth English hunt seat. Eastern hunt seat. Western pleasure and Western riding. Miss Collins placed second in all age hunt seat, and western riding, and fourth in youth geldings, showmanship, youth geldings and hunt seat.
