at work authorities said Frank Paden owner of Paden Mortuary in North Baltimore said the parents of the children were Mr and Mrs Jesus Trevino of the Dale Roe Trailer Park He said the Trevinos were at work at Bowling Green State University 10 miles north of Jerry City when the fire broke out The children were identified as Santos 1 Carlos 12 Jesus Jr 3 Nieves 4 Rita 5 Maria 6 Santiago 7 and Jose 9 Dr Roger Peatee Wood County coroner said the children apparently died of asphyxiation The Jerry City fire chief George Loomis said he was checking the possibility a small space heater may have touched off the blaze that started about 5:45 am and swept through the small trailer officers however theorized that the fire may have started in an overheated television set which was burned in the blaze They said the children all fully clothed apparently had been grouped around the TV when the fire started Loomis said neighbors reported hearing an explosion in the trailer right before smoke started pouring from the windows looked like the youngest baby burned to death and the rest of them died of smoke Loomis said firemen tried to revive them with mouth to mouth resuscitation but they bring them
