Panama City News- Herald's Recreation Guide Supplement to the NEWS-HERALD Panama City, Fla., Saturday Sept. 15,1973 f RECEIVE HONORS — Martha-Turner, shown at the upper right with her purebred Arabian mare F. F. Sabrina, won top honors at the Decatur, Ala., Southeastern show. Pauline.Holman, upper left, riding Cedardell Imperial, placed high in all classes. Dianne Flynn, lower left, won the reserve grand champion gelding honor. Carol Collins, lower right, riding her quarter horse Glo Bar Bob, won high point youth champion at the Dublin, Ga., Deep South Circuit. Bay Riders Win Top Horse Show Honors Bay County's contingent returned from the 1973 Decatur, Ala., Classic All-American Horse Show, held at the Southeastern Horse Show Center, with the highest of honors. Martha Turner received the overall high point Arabian award, the Junior exhibitor high point award and the challenge cup junior exhibitor award for one year with her pure-bred Arabian mare F. F. Sabrina, four years old. Miss Turner won four firsts, six seconds, two thirds, three fourths and two fifths, showing in halter, Western and English classes. Miss Turner was first in junior showmanship 18 years and under, Arabian junior horse Western pleasure, Aramian western pleasure 18 years and under and Arabian western pleasure maiden. She was second in Arabian mare foaled 1969 or before, bareback class open, stock seat equitation. Western pleasure amateur to ride, Arabian Western pleasure mares and geldings and Arabian English pleasure maiden. Miss Turner was third in saddle seat equitation and Arabian English pleasure 18 years and under,fourth in trail horse open, junior Arabian horse English pleasure and Arabian Western pleasure championship amateur, and fifth in saddle seat equitation medal class and Arabian (Turn to Pago 3)
