"My leg just got hit low and I fell on my leg," said Tomlinson, who had his leg wrapped tightly from thigh to calf in an Ace bandage after the game. He walked off the field on his own power and there was no noticeable limp as he walked in the locker room. "I will go for more tests (Monday) because I really don't know what it is." Tomlinson, 32, said he was not sure if he would be available Thursday when the Jets are in Denver to take on the Broncos.

"I won't speculate yet. I can't do it yet," Tomlinson said. "I'll just wait and see what happens." Before he was injured, Tomlinson moved into the top five on the list of all-time scrimmage yards, surpassing former Lions great Barry Sanders for sole possession of fifth place on the NFL's all-time list. With 38 yards rushing and 22 receiving, Tomlinson has 18,206 scrimmage yards in his 10 years in the NFL. Sanders had 18,190 yards in his 10 seasons.

Jerry Rice is the all-time leader with 23,540 yards in 20 seasons, from 1985 to 2004. NO TIME FOR A BREAKDOWN After he recognized a blown coverage at the line of scrimmage, Darrelle Revis' plea for a timeout was either unnoticed or ignored by the referee. The result was a 53-yard reception for Chad Ochocinco and an ensuing field goal that gave the Patriots a 3-0 advantage with 8:14 remaining in the first quarter. Ochocinco blew past an unprepared Revis for his biggest play of the season. "A couple times we never got matched up properly and they threw a couple quick passes out there and that's what that team does," coach Rex Ryan said.

"We have to be alert for it. We never got the matchups we wanted. So you have to give (Tom Brady) a lot of credit." NOT A TIGHT SPOT After the Giants beat the Patriots last Sunday, Ryan could not have been more impressed with the way they pulled off the win. Apparently he wasn't impressed enough. The Giants used their tight end, Jake Ballard, to exploit the Patriots' weak secondary, but the Jets only went to their tight end Dustin Keller twice Sunday night.

Ballard caught four passes for 67 yards against the Patriots, including the key 28-yard pass on third-and-10 from the Giants' 39 -yard line with just over a minute to play. G00DELL CALLS FOR HGH TEST Still waiting for the players union to STAT OF THE DAY Number of Jets turnovers on Sundy night. The Patriots did 3 not have a turnover. UNSUNG HERO LB Rob Ninkovich. He intercepted Mark Sanchez twice and ran one back for a touchdown.

MIA TE Dustin Keller. He had two catches for 37 yards, piggybacking his one-catch effort against the Patriots in Weeks. WHAT'S NEXT make good on its agreement to allow HGH testing, commissioner Roger Goodell said Sunday the league has satisfied the stipulations and all but accused the NFLPA of intentionally stalling. "I think they've run out of questions. I think all the answers have been given," Goodell said after conducting a seminar on concussions and other safety matters facing youth athletes.

"I think it's time for them to start to testing and that's what we agreed to do. We expect to do it. "We want to get HGH in," Goodell added. "We're going to do it. It's in our agreement.

We think we should be testing by now. We're going to continue to focus on getting in as early as possible. We believe we've sought out all the third parties to get all the answers to all the questions. It's time to get it done." HGH testing was negotiated into the new CBA, but the union has blocked its implementation while questioning the scientific validity of the test. The league wants to use the same test used on Olympic athletes.

DOTS ALL FOLKS Tom Brady's three touchdown passes were the most the Jets have allowed in a home game since the 2007 opener against the Patriots and Brady. This was the first time in three games against the Patriots that WR Santonio Holmes did not catch a touchdown pass. Patriots DE Andre Carter came in with 4.5 sacks on the season and doubled that in one night of terrorizing QB Mark Sanchez. Carter was credited with 4.5 sacks, as he pressured Sanchez and drew an intentional-grounding call in the first half and just missed a fifth sack in the final minutes. At Broncos on Thursday, 8:20 p.m.

around after this loss, but they may get a break in Denver. After winning a game while completing only two passes, the Broncos may be shorthanded in the back-field Thursday against the Jets. RB Knowshon Moreno sprained his knee in Sunday's 17-13 victory over the Chiefs. RB Willis McGahee also left the game with a hamstring injury..
