To be a member, one must have some type of camping vehicle and be a member of the humble way Thanks for the many, you help each day Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you each day. I still haven't said what I really want to say so I'll just close this and say Thank God for you each day. by Charles E. Winters Sr.

Tolar Thanks For The Many Thanksgiving has come and Christmas is just a peak away so, it seems to me that it is time to say how much I appreciate each of you each day. Your thoughtfulness and caring during the year and your help, visits and calls Howard Willingham, Mae and Olan Curlee. These are truly Good Sambas-sadors for all the Lake Granbury area, because they answer quesv tions and, spread the good word every where they1 travel. Say "hello" next time you see a Good Sam or Samantha, and you will-probably get a great big smile in return. The name Sam" is a derivative of the Biblical Good Samaritan and the club pledge reads; "I will stop and give aid to fellow campers where safety and traffic conditions permit. I will not attempt to stop and give aid on turnpikes, freeways or expressways but instead will give three short blasts on my horn to indicate that I am reporting a breakdown to the nearest patrol, toll gate, or police department. If I am broken down on the expressway, I will raise the hood of my vehicle and or display other distress devices, to indicate I am in need of assistance and stay with the vehicle until help arrives. I will keep my recreational vehicle in safe condition at all times and give special attention to brakes, tires and running lights. I will drive within jthe law and with consideration for others.

I will watch following traffice and pull off the road as soon as possible whenever I am causing a slowdown. I agree to observe and cause to be observed all posted rules and regulations for the betterment of the enjoyment of outdoor recreational facilities. One of these meetings will consist of a long trip planned sand voted on by the membership.
