Day Long Drug Education Seminar at Walther High School On Wednesday, December 2, the students of Walther Lutheran High School will have an Intensive day-long drug education seminar. Classes will be cancelled so that both students and faculty can be Informed about and can discuss the drug abuse crisis facing America's youth today. The entire program for the day has been planned and will be carried out by the sociology classes and the Key Club. Included In the program as the key-note speaker will be Mr. Joseph F. Fiedoral, an outstanding lecturer on narcotics abuse. After 27 years as a Chicago police officer, Mr. Fiedoral devoted his time exclusively to the lecture platform. Serving In the Maxwell Street district, long recognized as one of the nation's hotbeds of Illicit drug peddling and addiction, he gained the firsthand knowledge and experience of the narcotics problem and the recognition of Its deadly menace - which empelled him to specialize In this Held. Fiedoral is today recognized as one of the nations outstanding authorities on the subject. He Is scheduled to speak from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. In the school gymnasium.
