It is made from a corrugated carton and is lined with aluminum foi. to prevent water from overshoes and boots from soaking through. Figure 1 shows how to trim a carton to produce the shape shown in Figures 2 and 3. A suitable size is suggested in Figure 1. but the carton may be even larger if you wish. Note that across the front of the trimmed-down box a low portion remains to create a barrier that will prevent water from spreading onto the floor. The aluminum foil should cover th.3 entire interior of the boot holder with no cracks or other openings through which water can seep. This convenience for your home is temporary in character, but when one has served its purpose it will be easy to make another to take its place. 17—Seeds, Feeds WANTED: Waitress, afternoon shift. Kansas Attorneys for Executor Beef Featured In Markets This Weekend By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Beef is shouldering its way back into tihe spotlight at many markets this weekend. Most frequent features include rump and round roasts, with shoulder and chuck roasts also bargain-priced in some stores. Hambu/rger specials are also to be found in many areas. Pork steaks are a competing feature, especially in the Midwest. Broiler-fryer s and turkeys continue to vie for shopper attention at price levels that remain economical. Canned tuna is again one of the main attracions star among seafood items, though fresh fish bargains are available in many regions. Vegetable offers have expanded in most areas, though hot weather in the Southwest has reduced local selection. Nationally, best buys include green beans, tomatoes, cabbage, green peppers, carrots, lettuce, eggplant and corn. Best fruit buys include cantaloupes, grapes, nectarines and peaches, with regional bargains including avocadoes and new apples in the Northeast, watermelon in the Midwest and plums in the West. Grocer counter attractions include peanw* 1 butter and i salad and cooking oils. Sugar prices have been inching downward a s grocers use up stocks bought during the high- price period earlier this year. Wholesale prices are already much lower. The one-dollar bill has remained basically unchanged in design since the federal government started issuing silver certificates in 1878.
