The next sessiqn of the Agricultural and Mechanical College will begin Thursday, September 5th. Entrance examinations will be held at 'the in West Raleigh, Wednes-dayv 9 a. September 4th. New applicants for admission will be examined then, and applicants who failed to pass the July examinations at the county-seats may try again at the college, Rising From the Grave. Walter Maynard, alias Johnson, colored, of the vicinity of Apex, was jirrested here yesterday charged with stealing and offering for sale a cow owned by Mr. Robert Fuller, of Apex. Maynard offered the cow at a low )rice and Officer McRary arrested him on suspicion. He is said to have admitted after his arrest that he stole ho- cow. When searched a new razor was found on Maynard, and it is expected that he may have been the party who stole from a store at Apex a few nights ago.
