The project is ir. charge of H. CliSord Spiker, chairman, assisted by James Rexrode and Richard Taylor. The Repair and Building Committee is headed by C. William Teubner, chairman, Howard Hoyle, George Zimmerman and George Beckwith. The Painting Committee includes ] A. L. Brown, chairman, and his isons, Willis and Ralph Brown. Officials said the project will supplement and not interfere with the work of other groups who for years have built and repaired toys for both organizations. Monthly collections, they said, will mean that thousands-of toys which might otherwise be lost can be salvaged and made available for the needy at Christmas time. Plans for the first of the toy collections to be held early in March, will be worked out by the Salvation Army and Associated Charities. The "Wrecking Crew" reported toys will be turned over .to both agencies for storage as fast as they are built and repaired.
