Dawna Sinutc- lon. {• one of the three yrand prize irrn- nen in the llrrck Hairatylinu ContfHt. Dawna Singleton Do short hairs have more fun 1 ! Ever since I became one of the winners of the third annual Brock Hairstyling Contest, I've " ! been convinced it's true. My style, the California Whis|>, is a short swirled cut that's so easy to take care of. I spend the minimum amount of time on my hair. I also use a minimum of paraphernalia. I'm packing now to go away to college, and the only things I'm taking for my hair are u few rollers, scotch tape, Brcck's Gold Furmulu "Wet uiui Dry Conditioning" Shampoo anil a small, hand dryer. I try to wash my hair every few days because it looks thicker and glossier if I keep to this schedule. The Gold Formula shumpoo helps keep snarls and tangles out of my huir, gives it greater body, lustre and manageability. After I wash my hair, I set it with two rollers at the crown for a little extra height and use scotch tape on the back and the sidi's to keep the hair shaped into a swirl. Once my hair is almost dry, I remove the tape and rollers and brush vigorously with one hand while I dry it with the dryer in the other. Best of all, the whole routine from shampoo In finish takes me no longer than forty minutes! With a short haircut, I know that if I'm caught in the rain I'll still look my best. And if somebody calls me for a date on short notice, 1 can get ready ijuickly. Short hair really helps you look good in any situation- which, .is the, cr.ime, ybjecUye, ,of an>' girl.' «-•»•'» J ' • •.•••t.aetf SILK SCREEN OPERATOR Must be experienced to set-up and operate.
