Valley Times WOMEN VIRGINIA EVERETT, Editor 6 S. F. VALLEY TIMES, March 4, 1970 Not The Least Superstitious I thought I should warn you that Friday the 13th is coming. I doesn't bother me because I'm not superstitious. Honestly, -I cannot understand how some people can, believe those old wives' tales! The 13th was also on a Friday in back on it, that was the Wait a minute.

That was also the day before Valentine's And all those room mothers had the flu and couldn't come to help with the party at school, so I got to be room mother for two rooms instead of one. Generally speaking, that wasn't bad luck. For me, it was. But for the ones who got to stay home it was silver-lining time. NOW THAT I think of i it, that was the day my husband couldn't get the car started because the gasoline tank was empty.

He drove our second halfway to' the station before it ran out of gas. Then he walked to the station to get gas in order to drive to the station and get gas. But it must have been pure coincidence my son forgetting to fill the tank of the second same day I forgot to fill the tank the first car. Pure coincidence wasn't what my husband. called it.

He didn't exactly, call. it bad luck either. Funny, the'. way you start remembering, isn't it? Well, not really so funny. What I'm remembering.

is that on last Friday the 13th a friend called. said her little girl fell in dancing class and loosened two permanent teeth. ON FRIDAY, March 13th, I February and thinking day I sprained my ankle. 'ANGEL' GUESTS-Mr. and Mrs.

That way I can hardly walk under any silly old ladders, can And I can't step on a crack and break my mother's back either, If 1 planned on eating, I might spill a little salt: I'm not all hungry. And, the way I feel, I doubt I'll be looking in any mirrors that day, so I can't possibly break one.

That's the 'way to handle things, even if you don't believe in them. Just avoid them. If anybody calls and asks why I'm staying in bed, I'll just explain that I'm not so old-fashioned as to believe in bad luck. I'll just laugh and laugh if they suggest I'm superstitious. AFTER ALL, I'll say, I have a perfectly: good.

It may be smooth or. rough but let the quality be good. If. the majority of your. correspondence is typewritten choose the smoother paper.

A conservative color most appropriate, such as white beige grey or a pale blue. The paper may have a plain and it could be a shade lighter or darker than the stationery.
