Bavages expect to Imbibe bravery by drinking the blood of their brave enemies. A more enlightened method of vitalizing the blood is by taking Ayer's Sarsaparilla.

It braces up tbe nerves aud gives strength and fortitude to endure the trials of life. Slight derangements of tho stomach and bowels may often be corrected by taking only one of Ayer's Pills. Through not having the Pills at band, your disorder increases, and a regular fit of sickness follows. "For the want of a nail, tbe shoe was lost," etc. George Hubbcrt, the Lawyer, tolls us be will give attention to business in this county hereafter, but his friend should not wait to have law busiucss before seeing bitn in bis uew office ou the west side of tho square, adjoining the "picture gallery," In Neosho.

Tho editor has been afflicted with rheumatism for some days past and if the News lacks Its usual vim it can be attributed to our intense sufferings. Maxfleld bad the sad misfortune to loose their infant son Estley Maxfleld, last Monday. The little fellow was another whooping cough and cholera infantum victim, which disease is now racking the frames of our town's little ones. Little Estley was just one year and two days old aud was the joy and comfort of his father and mother. We extend to them our deepest sympathy. Notice Is hereby given that F.

C. Grohman, of the firm of (loud A baa this day retired from the firm by mutual consent. H. A. F.

Cloud and W. W. Tracy will continue to conduct the business under the firm name of Cloud A and will collect all debts now due the Cloud Co. Pineville, Last Wednesday morning Mrs. La-vina Chenoweth, relict of the late Dr.

H. 8. Chenoweth and mother of the late Dr. A. W.

Chenoweth, dropped from a chair in which she was sitting and expired in a few miuutos. Her remains were taken to the Neosho cemetery yesterday for burial. She was in her 77th year and was loved and respected by all who knew ber. "Death rides on every breeze and lurks Iu every flower." Yesterday was decoration day and the members of tbe G. A.

and citizen of this place turned out generally to participate in the services, and it is said that the occasion was the most successful one ever held st this place. The G. A. IL, post from Splitlog came down and united with our poet in the services. The Pineville Cornet Band furnished most excellent music and the day will be long remembered as one of great pleasure by those who took part in the exercises.

Last Monday while at Neosho, we called at the great dry goods emporium of the McElhany Mercantile and through the courtesy of Mr. Brockman tbe genial manager, we were shown su immense stock of goods of tbe very finest variety. Mr. Brookman is a thorough merchant and an Intelligent gentleman, and we have never seen a more complete stock of goods than Is carried by this Co. A more polite and accommodating lot of clerks could not be found in the State, aud to those who may anticipate buying anything in their liue we can most cheerfully recommend them.

It seems to us that the good people of this town and community should awaken to the necessity of fencing and cleaning up the cemetery grounds situated near here. It is a disgrace to any community to have a cemetery where our loved oues are resting to be the herding grounds for all kinds of stock, aud we dont believe those who have friends buried there will hesitate a moment to enter iuto some kind of an arrangement to have the cemetery placed iu proper order. Wc ill have more to say iu the future on tills subject, nml right here we will say that we don't propose to quit agitating this matter until the cemetery is fenced and cleared off. Who will place their shoulders to the wheel with us? Per Is Slt i'Mrt, The following letter was received by Circuit Clerk Cloud, last Monday, from State Auditor Seibert, relative to fees Id State cases "Answering your letter of 22d I bog to state that the bill nppropritv ting money for "Costs In Criminal Cnuws" was passed, and received theup-prnval of tho Governor, this week.
