The winners had beaten Polomac State, 7-2. Wednesday after taking the opener against the Catamounts, 14-10. Romney's Bob Sirk set the Bobcats down with nine safeties and hurled the dislance for the Rams. He was backed by an 18-hit attack against four Frostburg moundsmcn with starter Carl Donald taking the loss. Among the hits by the Rams was a three-run homer by "Ace" Doyle. Donald. John Keisler and Hugh Nolan shared six of the Bobcat bingles. Shepherd will seek a sweep of area nines when they invade Frosthurg next Monday afternoon.
