For the defeat of the coasiltn tlou. For the defeat of the fellow servants law. For the defeat of the initiative and referendum. For the defeat of statehood and the promise of a new enabling act. For mixed coaches and waiting rooms and the appointment of negroes to positions authority over white men and women.

For government by Injunction and to fasten upon the state without limitation the arbitrary and autocratic power of judges In every class of contempt cases. Frantz and the Republican ticket are against everything that the people of these two territories have been demanding of their rulers for years. They oppose progress and by rals lng a hue and cry against features of-the constitution they hope to encompass Its defeat and put the people of these two territories back Into the hands of the carpetbaggers fot further looting and exploitation. Frantz and his partv stand for a continuation of federal control and carpetbag government. Haskell and hls party stand for Immediate statehood and the enjoyment by the pepple of every right and privilege of self government which they are entitled to under the federal constitution and their own splendid character of liberty.

WHAT HASKELL AND DEMOCRATIC TICKET ARE STANDING FOR. For statehood. For the constitution. For the blessings of self government. For t.he strict regulation of trusts and monopolies.

For a competent railroad commission with powers to enforce the laws against rate discrimination. For separate schools, separate coaches and separate waiting rooms for tne white and negro races. For the Initiative and referendum, which preserves to the people their sovereignty and places a lasting check on every form of special or cIurs legislation. For the assessment of property of all kinds at Its cash market value and the limitation of the rate of tax levy to 33 1-3 mills on the $100 valuation In the country and 43'a mil's on the $100 In the citv. For a fellow servant law; for a mine Inspection law; for the abolition of child labor In mines and factories; for a compulsory school law and free school books.

For the best system of public schools that can be devised and for the liberal support and encouragement of the splendid higher Institutions of learning which the government has so generously endowed by grants of public lands. Haskell and the Democratic ticket stands for everyone of the wise provisions which the people and by (hat we mean the farmers, the work-lng men and the large end small business men of the new state ordered by their resolutions and their votes, written Into the constitution. The people have been heard from and further apologies are wholly OF OKLAHOMA Over 270 Different Courses Seven Distinct Schools School of Applied Science including Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Colleoe of Arts snd Sciences School of fine Arts, offering full courses in Vocal and Instrumental Music School of Mines School of Medicine School of Pharmacy -Preparatory School for those who have not had the advantage of a good High School A Faculty of 42 unnecessary. Ordinary Judges of public opinion might have anticipated the result from the temper of the meeting at the city hall ten days ago. It la all over and a thing of the past.

Let us all get together and watch the completion of the convention hall and he ready to entertain the Trans-MlsslsBlppI Congress. It was never doubted that the Republican party had no use for the Indian, but since the Phoenix has come out and declared that they are hot citizens of the United States, the fact Is undisputed, that paper having assumed to be the head, heart, and brains of the party In this country. The Indians having failed to flock to the 1 of broken promises, the mask is thrown off and the attitude of the g. 0. p.

toward him is plainly manifested by the tone of the Phoenix. 0 A vote for Frantz Is a vote against statehood, for t'he reason that should Frants be elected end the constitution adopted, which it certainly will be, the Republican national committee could easily faring such a pressure to bear on the president aB would constrain him to turn it down. They could then consistently say, that it was not turned down for political reasons as the presidents personal friend, Frantz, would go down with It, which would look "Very plausible. On the other hand, if Haskell Is elected, there would be no disguising the fact that the refusal to approve by the president could be attributed to none other than to further political party purposes. Hence we contend that a vote for Frantz Is a vote against statehood.

If what appears In the Phoenix today as the substance of the speech made by one John M. Sheets, Ohio's attorney general and the representative of STANDARD OIL, against, N. Haskell is correctly summarized, it will be of little value as a campaign document. It shows upon its fact that it is the work of a tricky charlatan. It charges nothing directly and Is arranged by the hand of a skillful scoundrel for the basest purposes.

The Standard Oil company is deeply Interested in the defeat of Mr. Has', Ml, but Sheets speech will not contribute anything to that end, but on the contrary will add to Haskell's strength. If the Oklahoma Short is the worst that Sheets ran do. he might make it in Muskogee without the slightest danger of being joted from the stand. St.

From Putnam County Sentinel. There are 147 counties in Texas absolutely dry, 53 are partially- so, and only 47 are totally wet. The governor says: Nearly all the dry territory has become so since 1893, and about 50 of the totally dry counties, and many of the precincts in the others have become so since 1903. The effect has been to greatly decrease the consumption of intoxicants. It has decreased the state revenue to a considerable extent, and has greatly decreased the amount of crime in the dry counties after the law has been in force long enough to accomplish Its legitimate results.

The saving in court expenses from decrease In crime is believed to offset the loss of revenue from closing the saloons." Governor Campbell. CAPITAL SURPLUS ....200.000 ..,.50,000 OFFICERS: W. BARNES, President. D. N.

Men S3I John Sheets, the Standard Oil attorney, In his speech at Oklahoma City, charges that Charles B. Squires and Mr. C. N. Haskell were In some way confused In an attempt to bribe Attorney General Monett for $500,000 to dismiss the case pending against the Standard Oil." Now, Mr.

Squires admits that Mr. Monett refused to accept the bribe and refused to dismiss the case. 'Will this gentleman explain to a discriminating public how it came that Immediately upon his Induction into the office of attorney general of the state of Ohio, that the case agalnBt te'o Standard Oil company was dismissed? The conclusion -is Irresistible, Mr. Sheets, that you accepted the bribe that you say was refused by Mr. Monett, because it was one of your first official acts to dismiss this csbo against the Standard Oil company.
