SAVE KfRKMAM COUPONS FOR WONDERFUL GIFTS Outdoor Meal Hot Casserole When vacation days drag for the youngsters, and hot -weather indoor cooking drags for Mother, nothing like a warm outdoor meal in woods or roadside park or on the beach. However, mothers don't relish building open fires, nor oooking over them.

Furthermore, in many places they couldn't build fires if they wanted to, because of safety regulations. But here's a. simple way to fix hot nourishing food out of doors --just fill up a casserle with any one of a whole variety of com- plele-in-one-dish recipes and cook right on the picnic table with a tabletop stove. These tabletop stoves are civilian cousin of the Coleman pocket stovas 'almost every. G.I.

used in the war. They make their own gas from liquid fuel, light instantly and can be regulated just like the burner of a gas range. Small enough to tuck away in a' spare corner of the car trunk, they burn.four to five hours with one filling of fuel. They boil a pint of water in little more than two minutes. Casseroles may be started in the oven at home and then heated up at the picnic spot, or entirely cooked outdoors.

Glass casseroles must be heatproof, however. A good, substantial picnic standby is frankfurters and baked beans. But there's a big variety of wholesome receipcs from'which to choose. Surprise Dad Fourth of July by whisking him away for an outdoor hot dinner--he'll like the change and you won't miss your hot kitchen. Here's a tuna fish and noodle dish everyone in the family will like.

It's easy to fix for that outdoor meal: Tuna Fish and Noodles With Mushroom Cream Sauce (5 servings) One tablespoon chopped onfon, 1 teaspoon butler or margarine, 1 can cream of mushroom" soup, to cup milk, one 7-ounce can tuna fish, 2 cups cooked noodles, cup cr.ush.ca potato chips. Cook onion in butter until soft; stir crcarn of mushroom soup, milk and onion together. Break tuna into chunks; mix lightly with soup mixture and noodles. Place in greased 1-quart casserole. Top with potato chips.

Peas and olives may be added, if desired. For home use, bake at 350 degrees (moderate oven) for 20-30 minutes. For picnics, either bake at home and heat up at picnic, or cook-on tabletop burner. Gene Howe, Famous Texas Editor, Ends Life With Bullet Amarillo, Tex. (AP.) Gene Howe, -famed Texas editor, ended his own life with a bullet Tuesday night.

His friends said (hat it was despondency over his health that caused him to lake his own life. Mrs. W. Flcsher, Randall Couniy justice of peace, returned a verdict of suicide. There were no final notes.

Hungarian Planes Violate Yugoslav Border, Tito Says Belgrade, Yugoslavia (AP) -Yugoslavia charged last night thst Hungarian planes have again violated her borders.
