This will be one of the most beneficial programs of training which the unit has undergone since the war, Brigadier General Robert H. Pepper, U.

S. marine corps officer in charge of the troop training program, said. General Pepper, a veteran of 3 years of marine corps service in Haiti, France, China, the Pacific and various posts in the United States, assumed command of the troop training unit last year. In addition to their responsibilly for the training of marine corps reservists in amphibious warfare, the troop training unit will conduct training for naval reserve officers training corps midshipmen from colleges and universities all over the country during the same period. After getting their "sea Jegs," reservists will make one landing for practice and on Thursday they will make their graduation landing on the Atlantic shore near Virginia Beach. After this final landing exercise the unit will prepare for their return trip home.
