While Alaska business and political leaders have promoted big projects to diversify the economy, such as a gas pipeline, liquid natural gas exports and petrochemical plants, Tussing said those projects have been hit by the same price decline that has hit the oil industry. (AP) An autopsy has confirmed that Diana Robertson, a young woman who disappeared with her boyfriend last December, was killed and left in the Lewis County woods near here, say authorities who continue to hunt for her boyfriend.

Dental records were used to identify the body found Tuesday as Ms. Robertson, 21. An autopsy confirmed she had been slain, said Lewis County Undersheriff Randy Hamilton. Hamilton today declined to release the cause of death. He said his officers were searching a pickup truck belonging to the boyfriend, Michael L.

A motorist who stopped to walk his dog found the body.

Depending on what authorities learn from today's truck search, an expanded hunt for Riemer could resume in the area Friday, Hamilton said. "Mr. Riemer's status is that he is missing," said Hamilton. "He could be an additional victim or he could be a suspect" but authorities don't yet know which is the case. Puyallup Municipal Court records show a judge signed an order last fall directing Riemer not have have further contact with Ms.

Robertson after he was arrested and cited for domestic assault and malicious damage last October after she filed a complaint against him. Ms. Robertson was last seen with Riemer, 36, on Dec. 12 when the two left Puyallup with their 2-year-old daughter, Crystal Louise, to set and check traps along the Nisqually River. The little girl was found unharmed later that day in a parking lot in Spanaway, in Pierce County.

Hamilton said it's still unknown whether Ms. Robertson died at the site where her body was found. It appears the body had lain in the area since the approximate time of her disappearance, he said. Searchers with bloodhounds searched the area around the logging road Wednesday but were unable to find any trace of Riemer, he said. A large manila envelope with the words, "I Love You, Diana," written on it was found under the truck's windshield, Hamiliton said.

He said he doesn't yet know the significance of the message. Riemer's father, Michael L. Riemer had organized extensive searches since the couple's iuimlli ulu -iiuiii-Emivb DiuuLOl wo Ki I HE IfLAod. lUIALLY NtW OtS bni Blbb-R. EVERY TRUCK FUEL-INJECTED.
