Leading the array of experts is Sam Arena of San Jose who has won four national hill climb championships. Tough competition will be given by Aubrey "Booge" Isham of Oakland and W. E. Montgomery of Tacoma, Wash.

Entered in the novice classes are top riders like Charlie West and Lee McReynolds of San Jose, Gene Andres of Modesto, and Wayne Sumner of Fresno.
