m. Sunday in the First United "Church for Mack C. Gee, 80, 'a life- long resident of Hood County. Services were conducted by the Rev. Fred Adams and the Rev.

Leo Gee. Mr. Gee died Friday in Vicksburg, where he had been living with a daughter for eight months. The retired farmer was born May 30, 1891 in Hood County, the son of C. A.

and Maggie Henslee Gee. He married Bessie Pearl Johnson July 28, 1912. He had been an active member of the Methodist Church all his life. Survivors are his sons, Lewis of Corsicana, Burl of Irvin, Truman of Fort Worth, the Rev. Leo Gee of Big Spring; daughters, Mrs.

Edith Bunch and Miss Oma Gee of Vicksburg, Mrs. Nadine Livesay of Albuquerque, N. 21 grandchildren, 4 great- -grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Dolly Massey of Cleburne and brothers, Jim and John of Granbury. Pallbearers were Herbert Johnson, T.

B. Gee, Charles Gee, Windell Gee, Stetson Massey and Donnie Johnson. Burial was in Granbury Cemetery with Martin's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. James Thorp Final rites for James G.

Thorp, 46, of Wheatland were conducted here at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Riley officiating. Mr.

Thorp died May 23 in his home after an apparent heart attack. He had lived Wheatland 13 years and was owner of Thorp's Drive In in Fort Worth. The veteran of World War II was born Sept. 12, 1925 in Granbury. He attended Granbury and Tolar Schools.

He was a 1943 graduate of Tolar High School. He married Rebecca Gillespie, October 16, 1948 in Temple. Survivors include his wife, daughters, Miss Gay Thorp of Fort Worth, Mrs. Robert Wrinkle of Fort Worth; sons James of Fort Worth, one grandchild; father, Joe of Granbury, mother, Mrs. J.

H. Jones of Fort Worth, sister, Mrs. Larry Wilkins of Irving; grandmother, Mrs. P. G.

Thorp of Granbury. Pallbearers were Jess Merry, Bill Watson, Mike Verseckes, Bob Wrinkle, C. W. Yeldington, Leo Burns. Martin's Funeral Home was in charge of interment in the Friendship Cemetery.

Mr. C.W. Sitton Curtis Wayne Sitton, 61, died Sunday, May 21 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a long illness. He had been a resident of Alice since 1961. He was the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Hardy Sitton. They lived in Granbury from 1921 until 1925. Sitton was president of C. W.

Sitton Drilling Co. of Evansville, Ind. He had extensive. oil and gas in Illinois, Indiana and Texas. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Elks Lodge.

Funeral services were held Wednesday May 24 in Holmgreen Morturary Chapel in Alice with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survivor's are his wife, Lorraine; mother, Mrs. Susie Sitton of Johnson City: five daughters, Mrs. Francis Hans of Alice, Mrs. Anita Schroeder of George West, Miss Susie Lea Sitton of Alice, Mrs.

Lois Ann Risinger of San Diego, and Mrs. Thelma Sue Green of Atlanta, a son, R. W. Sitton of Evansville, a sister, Mrs. Billie Sue McGovern of Garland; a brother, J.
