a rumor but a fact The Seattle SuperSonic star guard and former manager will be in the Long-view-Kelso area for a three-day camp Aug 8-9-10 Registration is now being accepted for the camp which will be conducted in six sessions according to Bill Ammons Wilkins would like to have boys eight to 18 sign up for all three days in order to complete his instruction but will allow some to register for only one or two days The cost of the camp will be $20 for the three days or $7 per day The camp will be divided into groups for better instruction for the individuals One group will attend the morning sessions and another the afternoon sessions Ammons reports that Wilkens will award trophies to winners in several categories such as top freethrow er best defensive player best passer best dribbler etc Area and local basketball coaches have expressed much interest in the camp and it appears that a large turnout will be on hand when the balls are tossed on the floor The location of the camp still isn't definite but it could be Held in the Kelso High School gym There is still room for several more basketball hopefuls When the camp was proposed l'z-hour sessions were planned but Wilkens
