Rocky Mount at Wilson Tim Turned in Last Xlght Some. thlnR Must be Done to Protect the Fire Department. There are certain offenders against law and order that are doing the city a great deal of damage and there has been nothing done to put a stop to their work. Last night the city lire department was three times aroused and sent flying to the outskirts of the city by-false alarms. The first alarm was turned in.

at o'clock this morning, from box 26, corner of Swain and Hargett. At 3:30 an alarm came in from box .12. corner of East and Polk, in north Raleigh. At 4:00 the third and last alarm sounded from box 13, at the Northslde Drug Store. Every one of these runs was a long one, and the horses were badly winded.

"Btil," the fine black horse of Rescue No, lost two shoes and his feet were badly broken. Not a dash to a box is over made without danger to harness, men, and equipment. Recently a fine horse was crippled for life and incapacitated by fall in turning a corner. The city's property should not be jeopardized and her faithful firemen put to trouble and inconvenience in such a manner. Something must be done to put an end to tiiese offenses.

WASHINGTON AFTER A NEW RAILROAD Look at this REGAL Oxford Raleigh People Give Credit Where Credit la Due. People of Raleigh who Buffer with sick kidneys and bad backs want a kidney remedy that can be depended upon. The best is Doan's Kidney Pills, a jnedlcine for the kidneys only, made from pure roots and herbs, and the only one that is backed by cures in Raleigh. Here's Raleigh Mrs. W.

W. Hudson, 411 Newbern Raleigh, N. says: "Doan's Kidney Pills proved to lie the best kidney remedy I ever used, a'nd it gives me pleasure to spea kin their behalf. I suffered a great deal from kidny trouble, the principal symptom of which was a dull, miserable pain across my back. I could not rest well and upon arising in the morning, I had no strength or energy to begin the day's work.

The kidney secretions also gave me a great deal of annoyance by their too frequent passages and plainly denoted by their unnatural appearance that my kidneys were out of order. Obtaining a box of Doan's Kidney Pills from the Bobbitt-Wynne Drug I used them according to directions and was afforded prompt relief. After ti'klng them a short time, every symptom of my fcrouble had disappeared and since then I have had no return attack." For sale by all dealers. 50 cents. However, the Record's Informant must have viewed the game in question from tbe distant railroad bank, or else he has certainly got his facts twisted.
