THE COMANCHE CHIEF MR. Coi i. H. C. ALBIN, Democrat Star Route, observe their 50th anniversary Sunday, Open house from 2 until 7 is planned at their Mercer Gap home.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Albin were Honied at Guatine, where they were born. They lived in fitft Worth and Dallas before returning to Comanche in Honoring them will be their son and daughters and their families: Mr.

and Mrs. A. C. Albin, who will arrive from Blytheville, Arkansas; Mr. and Mrs.

B. J. Haire, who live in Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. E.

R. Waddell, who are Fort Worth residents. Arriving from Austin will be Miss Jan Waddell and E. R. Waddell III.

The have seven other grandchild- Grady Howefl Claimed By Death James Grady Howell. 70, lony time resident of Proctor, and former Commssioner of Precinct No. 3, Comanche County, passed away Wednesday. October 30 in a Dublin hospital, after a one-day serious illness. Funeral services for Mr.

Howell were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, in the Dublin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. George, pastor of the Christian Church, Dublin, officiating. Burial was in the Proctor Cemetery.

Mr Howell had been in failing health for some time. He had been in a Veterans Hospital at Temple for several weeks, before returning home about a month ago. Mr. Howell, son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Monte Howell, was bom October 24, 1893 at De Leon. He was married October 4, 1932 to Miss Bessie Scott of Dublin. During the past few years, Mr. Howell operated a dairy farm and was employed by Walderth Peanut Company. Dublin, as a buyer.

He worked up to the time he suffered his last illness. Mr. Howell attended school at Proctor and was a 1911 graduate of Proctor Hig'h School. He later attended Business College in Fort Worth. He served two terms as Commissioner of Precinct No.

3, Comanche County in the 1930s. A veteran of World War he served for 13 months in Francet Mr. Howell united with the Methodist Church at Proctor when he was 18 years of age. Mr. Howell is survived by his wife; a son, Joe, of the home; 3 daughters.

Howell of Proctor, E. N. Howell of Breckenridge, and I. M. (Pete) Howell of Picton; and 2 sisters, Mrs.

Grace Nichols of Dublin and Mrs. Ruth Babene of Austin.
