At 3:20 p. m. the House NIQHT SESJION. Bill lor the more speedy securing of the right of way by tbe Winston, Salem and Mooresville Railroad passed.1' A Bill to prevent live stock from running at large iu Mecklenburg aud Warren counties, and certain townships ia Catrabus county passed. Mr.

Atkiuton said here was another tig appropriation, which would derange all the beautiful machinery of appropriation. Hdl to incorporate the Cotton and Grocers Exchange, of Raleigh, passed its readings. B.il to provid for the internal lm provemfut of Craven aud Beaufort counties by the cuttiug of a canal from Swift. Creek to Blouut's Creek, aud allowing twenty-fwe couvicia therefor, passed its readings. Bill to regulate the appointme-ii of diiectois on the Cape Fear Yadkin Yail Railroad, who shall be tw4r in number eight to be appointed by the Governor, aud 'our to be ohoaen by the stock-holdeis, passed.

ALBEMARLE AND CIIES.VPEAKS CANAL. Mr. Anderson moved to reconsider the bill by which the bill providiog for the exchange of State for the bond so fiheAlbermarle ni Cbesap aVe Canal Company was laid on the taOle his morning, and made some remaiks in favor of the bill. Mr. Turner opposed the motion as ring work, and suug out into a wild denunciation of the rings and this measure.

Mr. Moiing had investigated the matter fully, and said we bad only four miles of th canal aud all the rest was in Virginia. Mr. Lock hart said the exchange contemplated in the bill would result in benefit to the State, und desired to see the motion prevail. sii i that he beliaved the canal company owned no boats.

Iu regaid to tolls, it wss the habit to charge by the boat, without any difference on accouut of cargo. The motion to reconsider the vote abling the bill was then put aud prevailed. The bill ihen passed its final leading. A repot of the. committee, of conference upon the levenue bill was read.

It strikes out all the specift; taxes as put in by the Senate and leaves the bill as it came frju the House, with but few exceptions. The repoit was, on motion, concur, ed in. The commit appointed to consider the bid for the better protection of th pupils of the Daf aud Dumb and Blind Institution, submitted a report by stiikng out the pottion providing for the hospital, Mr. Atkinson of the committee protesting. Bill to enable the city of Wilmington to pay its indebtedness by the issue of 200, 00 iu bonds, passed its final reading.

Mr. Holt rose to a question of pr-hooal privilege, in regard to a verbal message sent him by Dr. Kugeue Gris- sorn. Resolution in regard to the contested lection case of Augus'UJ Kobbius vi. W.
