Notice of Sheriff's Sale of Land. Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of an order of sale issued out of the District court of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, on the 9th day of September, 1911, in an action wherein George C. Butte was plaintiff, and Haretora Starr Thompson et al, were defendants, directed to me, the undersigned Sheriff of Sequoyah county, com- manding me to levy upon, appraise and sell the following property, I The north-west quarter of the south-east quar- tor and the south-west quarter of the north-east I quarter of the south-east quarter of Section three (3). You are further notified, that George Russell is the only person, who has appeared and claimed an interest in said estate; that the description of the property wljereof the said Andrew Russell dies, seized or possessed, so far as known, is a claim and right to an allotment of landa in the Cherokee nation, and to a distribution of funds provided by an Act of Congress for equalizing allotments between members of the Cherokee Tribes of Indians. 51 You are further notified, that no allotment has been selected for the said Andrew Russell, and that there is due him about the sum of Six Hundred and Fifty ($650.00) Dollars, in of his allotment.
