Miss Frances Oliver, an authority on antiques, will exhibit and discuss her collection of antiques which includes a collection of 17th Century porcelain. The meeting will he at the home of Mrs. Fuller Manly, 815 Essex-rd. Miss Oliver has made a lifetime hobby of antique collecting and has just returned from an antique buying trip in New England.

This year the club is meeting in some of Birmingham's most attractive homes. Mrs. Harwell G. Davis is president of the Howard College Faculty Wives Club. Baby talk Mr.

She discussed Zonta a i and introduced other officers of the local club. Mrs. Elizabeth May Davey gave histories of both the international and Birmingham Zonta organizations. She mentioned many projects of the local group, including the equipping of a recreational room at Fort McClellan and a library at the YWCA, the establishment of scholarships and the present long range project of sponsoring a women's ward at Bryce Hospital. Mrs.

Minnie McNeill Carr lighted the candles of the birthday cake as Mrs. Marjorie Peebles listed further objectives of Zonta. Both are past presidents of the club. OTHER PAST presidents recognized at the meeting were Mrs. Roberta McNeal, immediate past district governor; Miss Nina Miglionico.

Mrs. Frances It was a festive birthday package the local Zontians shared with their guests at Vestavia Country Club. Symbolizing its gay wrappings were the bright table decorations. Its contents was loaded with the talent of a number of this area's outstanding young artists. Included in the entertainment program wore songs by Andrew Gainey of the faculty of the Birmingham Conservatory of Music: a dramatic reading by Mrs.

Ramona Allison of the Howard College faculty; and dance skits by Gage Bush, Jackie Wells. Bonnie Corson and Bentley Rotton of the Birmingham Civic Ballet with Katherine Clark, ballet mistress, as narrator. Carr. Decorated in a harvest motiff were the long banquet tables at which the 100 members and guests ere seated. On the speakers table were arrangements of brilliant bird of paradise. chrysanthemums and roses. Serving as program chairman was Mrs.

Yeilding; music chairman, Mrs. Carr; decorating chairman, Mrs. Hagan. Miss Margaret Miller gave the invocation. Special guests included 15 members of Tuscaloosa Zonta Club which was organized by the Birmingham unit.
