Misses Ethel Christian and Cleo Balack visited friends in Sallisaw the first of the week. The farmers have been hauling in lots of good corn this week, selling it at 50 to 60c per bushel.

Mrs. G. A. Huffman of Van Buren visited her sister, Mrs.J. M.

Sajge and family the first of the week. Morris Levy, district deputy Grand Master of the A. F. A.M. visited the Vian Lodge officially Monday night.

G. S. Young and wife returned Monday after a weeks' visit to relatives at Russellville, Ark. They report that crops in that section are flue. Captain and Mrs.

Jack Ellis, of near Marble City, were here Tuesday afterntfoiKon their way to inspect and re-rent one of their farms near Paw Paw. What is the excitement? some one asked Tuesday.
