The mother of the bridegroom was in a frock of blue crepe and lace. Both mothers wore white orchids. The reception was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.

S. Blackburn, uncle and aunt of the bride. Assisting were J. R. Jones.

F. Burford, Mrs. Norman Dale, Mrs. Allen Braswell, Mrs. W.

After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple will live in Homewood. Miss Jean Tyus and George Malone Simpson were married at 5 p. m. Saturday at St. Bernards Church by the Rev.

Eugene Flynn. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Malcolm A. Tyus. the late Mr.

Tyus, Mrs. George M. Simpson and the late Mr. Simpson. Mrs.

L. W. Kendrick of Kinston. N. attended the bride as matron of honor.

She wore a blue lace dress with matching hat of feathers and carried a cascade of white roses and valley lilies. THE BRIDE was given in marriage by her brbther. Lewis W. Tyus. Her dress of Chantilly lace and net was fashioned with Sabrina neckline, long sleeves and ballerina-length bouffant skirt.

She carried white orchids with valley lilies. The finger-tip veil ing neckline which such top designers as Ceil Chapman and Luis Estevez have given their cocktail and evening clothes. Just the right touch for these necklines are the 20 to 25-inch length necklaces featuring elaborate jeweled pendants. They give a modest and fashionable accent to, the bare fashions. FOR THE NEW LITTLE beret hat which is designed to wear with a backward slant or side movement and to cover most of the hair, choose oversized button earrings.

They lend emphasis and drama to the stark lines. For the deep cloche hats, drop earrings are the answer. The stand-away neckline of the new fashions calls for handsome jewelry. Specially designed for them are the tailored necklaces that fit the neck snugly and carefully. Elegant with the undefined lines of the new sheath are dramatic and beautiful pins.
