Kemble and Patty Matter, New Paltz, are parents of the bride. Nason is the son of Mark and Darlene Nason, I layden Lake, Idaho. The couple are living in Olympia after a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii. Dorothy Compton Soap Luke, Hash Service for Dorothy Dottie Compton, 72, will be at 1 p.m.

today at Nicoles Funeral I lome in Ephrata, Wash. Burial will follow at the Ephrata Cemetery. Mrs. Compton, who was bom in Mount Clements, died Thursday. She worked in the health care industry taking care ol the elderly for 20 years in Soap Lake.

Her first husband, Norman Johnson, and her second husband, Jack Compton, both preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Ronald Johnson of Spokane; four daughters, Norma LaCourisier of Moses Lake, Sandra and Caroline Johnson, both of Ephrata, and Darlene Johnson of Soap Lake; a brother, Arthur Plasinski of Mount Clements; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loye (Avery) Hohnwaldt Bayview, Idaho Visitation for Loye (Avery) Hohnwaldt, 66, was Sunday at Coeur dAlene Memorial Funeral Home. Vigil service followed at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial Mass is 11:30 a.m. today at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur dAlene. Mrs. I lohnwaldt, who was born in Spokane, died last Monday.

She graduated from Rogers High School and was a member of the High I hits Social Club. Mrs. Hohnwaldt sang in I ligh Hatters with the USO and was a member of St. Patricks Guild in Spokane. She worked as a checker at Safeway in Spokane before retiring and moving to Bayview.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford; daughters Dona Ryan of California, Lois Requena of Texas, Donna Eastman of Edmonds, and Barbara Bigelow of Bothell, a sister Jackie Orth of Bayview; six grandchildren and two Achievements Chamber recognizes two local students Harry Graves Sptikane Memorial service for Harry B. Graves, 78, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Life Center Church. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Graves, who was bom in Enterprise, died Thursday. He worked at Camp Chevrolet Body Shop doing auto body and fender repair. Mr. Graves was a member of Downriver Mens Club and Life Center Church. I fis wife of 50 years, Patty, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Graves of Spokane and John Graves of Los Angeles; a daughter, Trudy Newby of Vancouver, four sisters, Wanda Williamson of Kennewick, Marlene Edwards of Salem, Marg Gish and Naomi Mills, both of Spokane; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Center Church, Youth Camp Scholarships or the American Cancer Society. Colleen Christen Spokane Private service for Colleen R. Christen, 67, will be held at a later date. Riplinger Funeral is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Christen, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Thursday. She was a graduate of Holy Names Academy. Mrs. Christen was a homemaker and was a member of the St.

Aloysius Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Becky Christen and Molly Gibson; two sons, Terrance Christen and Robert Christen, all of Spokane; a sister, Michelle Catulas; and two brothers, Pat and Frank Colliton, all of Spokane. Genevieve Dillon Spokane Funeral Mass for Genevieve Dillon, 84, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. I lennessey-Smith Funeral I lome is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Dillon, who was bom in Ambrose, N.D., died Wednesday. She worked as a nurses aide at Sacred Heart Medical Center for 25 years before her retirement.

Mrs. Dillon was a 40-year resident of Spokane. Her husband, Lyle Dillon, died in 1976. Survivors include a son, Patrick Dillon of Spokane; a daughter, Michele Childers of Spartanburg, S.C.; a sister, Donna Thompson of Spokane; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Eastern Washington.

Clyde Butts Jr. Spokane No service will be held for Clyde D. Butts 69, at his request. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is' in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Butts, who was bom in Jamestown, N.D., died Thursday. In 1946 he graduated from North Central High School and later earned a bachelor of arts in art from Eastern Washington University. Mr. Butts served in the Army Corps of Engineers in Japan. In 1955 he worked for the Washington State Highway Department, doing design and engineering.

He retired in 1980. Mr. Butts was a resident of Spokane for 55 years. Survivors include a brother, Roland McDaniels, and a sister, Audrey Butts, both of Spokane. Memorial contributions may be made to the -Union Gospel Mission or the American Cancer Society.

Ralph Huellemann Post Falls Visitation for Ralph Huellemann, 55, will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yates Funeral I lome in Coeur d'Alene. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Cemetery, Riverview Section, in Coeur dAlene. Mr.

Huellemann, who was bom in Wallace, died Friday following an extended illness. I le grew up and graduated from Wallace High School in 1960 and began a career in the grocery business at Britz Garden Spot in Osbum. Mr. Huellemann moved to Coeur dAlene in 1967 and worked for several grocery stores before buying Ralphs I.G.A. in 1974.

He sold the I.G.A. in 1985 and bought Ross Point Food Stop in 1987. Mr. Huellemann sold the Food Stop in 1992 and worked as a part-time truck driver for 1 1 Mining Supply and was a member of the Avondale Golf Club. He was active in the community and school athletic programs.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Cleo; a son, Ralph HucUcman Jr. of Coeur dAlene; a daughter, Deanna I lartman of Post Falls; his mother, Evelyn Huellemann of Coeur dAlene; a sister, Janet Arthur of Nevada; and four grandchildren, Ron, Kris, Andrew and Kylie. Mary Miles Moses Lake No service will be held for Mary M. Miles. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Miles, 72, died Jan. 3. She was bom in Sunburst, and was a homemaker. Mrs.

Miles had been a resident of Moses Lake since 1972. Survivors include her husband, Otis; a daughter, Maty Lou Hardy of Quincy, and a son, Robert Miles of Burns, Ore. Two local students were honored by the Coeur dAlene Chamber of Commerce for outstanding achievements and dedication. Sasha Larson, an eighth grader at Lakes Middle School, was recognized for her creativity and dedication as the first editor of the student newspaper, Paw Prints, and for having a positive, caring attitude, natural leadership skills and a desire for excellence. Benjamine Toews, a North Idaho College student majoring in political science, was recognized for academic success and leadership.

Toews is a member of the college senate, DECA and serves as vice president of academics for DEC, an association for marketing students, and represented his chapter at nationals for three years. Toews also maintains a 3.9 grade-point average and wants to continue his education at other Idaho schools. Anderson Memorial Scholarship from the American Indian Science and Engineering Society.
