THE NEWS--NEWPORT, R. THURSDAY, AUGUST 28, 1958 Gretchen Bu.vbaum GRETCHEN BUXBAUM, VI 6-9810 TOM GALV1N, VI 7-5340 It Won't Be Long JUST AROUND THE CORNER is the start of the dreaded, but likewise longed-for (although we may not admit it) school year. Camps have closed, summer jobs are ending, winter spending money has been earned and football practice has started. The lure of school is here. To be at loose ends is okay for a short time, but the routine of school the early rising, the crowded corridors and lunch rooms, the new faces with their new ideas, and the waiting for dismissal-is deep down really appealing.

As silly as it may seem, we of work. Concentration on studying during the week makes the weekend more appreciated. Just like too much of anything, too much vacation becomes sickening. We think the following quote sums up our real reason for looking forward to school. "Variety is the very spice of life that gives it all its flavors." Judy thinks it quite necessary to be a hit with the opposite sex.

She is taking a commercial course at Rogers, English being her favorite subject. Upon graduation Judy will be going Bryant Secretarial School. With her brains, appearance and bubbling personality, she is sure to be a great success in the business world and among her friends. MOON TALK How did you like the 10 o'clock feeding. Bob? He includes in his favorite tunes, especially for dancing "Beethoven's Fifth" and "Moonlight He likes Italian food and best of all lasagna.
