4224 THE YEAR 'ROUND and vacation population of the San Lorenzo Valley has greatly increased during the last few years and will continue to grow if proper provisions are made to take care of the new residents. GOVERNOR WARREN predicts that California will have a population of 20 miiiion within the next 20 years. WITH VAST GROWTH of industry in the Bay region, San Jose and along the peninsula, all of Santa Cruz County will get more permanent and recreational residents. DONT STOP PROGRESS because of lack of adequate water for everybody for domestic use and fire protection. AFTER A FIVE-YEAR STUDY your directors of the San Lorenzo Valley County Water district now submit a concrete plan requiring a bond issue which will enable them to secure ample water for all to use and to avoid water shortages in the summer season as often happens at present.

THESE DIRECTORS, old-time residents and taxpayers of Boulder Creek and Ben Lomond-offer this solution to our water problem, to own fhc systems ourselves, build reservoirs to save water otherwise wasted in the win- ter for domestic and garden use and to increase and regulate the stream flow in the summer. DONT BE MISLED by a few selfish owners of large acreage and estates with their own private water systems, pools and luxuries. Vote for the bonds -for your own water system and back your directors, who have spent time, energy and brains in mapping this constructive and progressive program. A MAJORITY of voters indicated in the last election that they were in favor of it. In fact, it came within 50 votes of the required two-thirds vote It should have been done sooner Let's get it started now! VOTE ON BONDS.
