Phone 2288. VARIETY OF ROADS TRAVELED ON TRIP TO OKLAHOMA CITY J. C. Fast and Harry Fast of the Fast-Oswalt Motor company have Just' returned from a trip overland to Oklahoma City In a Dodge touring car. On the trip over they went the south route by the way of Okmulgee, Henryetta and Okemah, and then west along the Fort Smith and Western railway.

This route has some very good roads, but there was much dust and in many places the roads were being worked and In bad condition. Many culverts were put in and the roads were badly torn up west ot Heriryetta, through Oketnah to Ciatle. An entirely new road IS being built from Meeker to Harraa, according to Mr. Fast. On the return 1 trip a different route was taken, the party going by the' new Ozark trail, which is a flrst-cUM road, free from dust, from Oklahoma.

City to Sapulpa, where they left the trail. The remainder of the trip was made by coining south to Beggs east'to Muskogee by the way of Bald Hill. The road between the latter points. Mr. Fast says.
