The members of the Thursday Evening Bridge Club gave a prettily appointed dinner party on Monday evening at the home of Miss Janet Cribbs, 11th street, in honor of Mrs. (lerald McCain, who before her recent marriage was Miss Virginia Shatter.

Covers were laid for 12 at a table attractively decorated In keeping with St. Patrick's Day. The centerpiece was a potted plant and green candles in Silver holders were used. The placements were also in keeping with St. Patrick's Day.

Following the dinner bridge was played and prizes went to Miss Olive Smith and Mrs. Floyd Itodgers. The honor guest was presented with a beautiful gift by the members of the club. Young People's Council Hold Important Meeting Monday. A meeting of the Young People's Sunday School Council was held in the Presbyterian church on Monday evening with a large representation from the different Sunday schools of the city.
