Altoona, Pa. Also, sole agent for brated Imperial Hat. the cele- I Truth is Stronger Than Diplomacy. We have found it best to tell the truth about the Shoes we sell, and when we do that it makes war with competition. If instead of telling the truth we practised what we have come to call diplomacy, we would parade before the public some beautifully polished lies, which, while they could not offend, would mislead you.

But we dispense with diplomacy and tell the straight truth, hence when we represent a Shoe to be worth $3, or any other price, you may depend upon it in fact you can count on always getting more for your money than any other shoe store in Altoona gives you. Our low price system doesn't make us as large a percentage of profit, but it sells more shoes. Johnson's Shoe Palace, Next To First National Bank. No. 1308 Eleventh Avenue iMWIH ALTOONA, FA..
