Moore of Spiro, Oklahoma, Mr. Fletcher Lane of thistOityvWas united in marriage to rlet-Louise Self of Poteau, Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple took their departure for Eufaula, Okla homa, where they will make their future home.

Mr. Lane, is the eldest son of D. Lane of the County Treasurer's office of LeFlore county, and is one of the most worthy and deserving young men of that section. Miss Self, at the lime of her marriage was a student of the Wesleyan College of Oklahoma City, and is one of Poteau's fairest and bright est daughters. We heartily extend to them a cordial welcdmje and trust that the future may bring to them health, happiness and prosperity.

On Thursday evening. December 14, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Wimmer, the pretty but quiet Wedding of Mr. Dallas Cooley and Miss Hazel baugh was solemnized.

An amusing'inistake was made by two Abyssinian delegates of the Emperor Menellk to France. Awed by the splendor of his gold lace uniform and the solemnity of his imposing manner, they mistook the usher at the door of the foreign minister's office for M. de Selves himself.
