Currently minister-director of the Science of Mind Church, Sherman Oaks, Dr. Curtis will become minister-director of First Church of Religious Science in Dallas, on July 1. Widely known in the Inland Empire by his boyhood name of Curtis D. Rudolf, Dr.

Curtis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Rudolph of Cheney. His father was a Spokane County commissioner from 1949 to 1963.

The son is a 1932 Cheney High School graduate who attended Eastern Washington State College for two years before attending the Northwestern University school of speech. After collecting bachelor and master's degrees, he taught at various colleges. He then went to Hollywood where his name was changed to Donald Curtis. He was featured in more than 200 motion pictures in the decade of 1938-1948. On Broadway Later he became a leading man on Broadway.

He was also in many radio and television programs. In Cecil B. deMille's film, "The Ten Commandments," he had the role of assistant to Moses.
