An opening reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the gallery, inside Bettendorf Office Products, 3280 Middle Road.

Ms. Granato's work "features vivid, flying colors that often seem to exude light," according to a release from the artist "The interplay of dark and the overcoming power of light are presented in Lori's distinct style." Born in 1987, Ms. Granato completed a four-year fine art degree at Arizona State University, moving afterwards to the Quad-Cities and working in the frame shop at Evergreen Art Works.
