closed and the score was 0 to 0 The game was fast and furious opening with Haskell kicking The Indians tried to get the ball down to the ten yard line by the use of end runs and short passes At the ten yard line they were halted and at- tempted a place kick which failed Again and again they tried to put their speed and fleetness into action by the same series of runs but failed Haskell High resorted to straight football and with a series of line plunging and end runs put the ball down to the three yard line to lose it on downs In the last half the boys tried the air Koute and made seventy yards on four passes The local boys put the ball down to the line but never could put the pigskin across the line The game was played in Haskell territory during the first half the last half being in Bacone territory Bacone attempted seven passes and failed However they intercred three from the handof Dustin Haskell attempted ten passes and connected with four for good gains Excellent work was done by the line and back field men Andy Eng-lert was prominent in his line plunging and for his edd runs He played a good defensive game Snyder at full play the game that he played with Bixby' Thompson was seen at his best when grabbing pasies out of the air Englert was con-spicious in his defensive and offensive playing Washington was the star for the Indians His shiftiness and speed makes him an excellent broken field runner and he demonstrated his ability The teams were about evenly matched in weight and size and this was evident in the matter of seesawing on the field of scrimmage LOCAL PEOPLE ATTEND MARiRIAGE OF RELATIVE Mr and Mrs George Martin Mr and Mrs Dave Reynolds have returned from Okmulgee where they were guests at the marriage of their niece Miss Myrtle
