about violations of highway safety rules and laws which 60 patrolmen actually saw committed The compiled reports of these 60 patrolmen show that every one of 2600 motorists were giveen warning cards Scores of these cases were where the lights were either defective or there wcic no tail lights The depart ment is making a drive against badly lighted cars Every motorist who gets a warning card on enroll ment at the end of the first week was 82 and the grade enrollment was 175 More are expected when the winter term begins A commercial course has been added and is proving very popular with high school students Due to the heavy en rollment in typewriting it has been restricted to juniors and seniors A chapel program will be presented riday August 20 each class present ing one number The hour will be from 11 to 12 and patrons are cordially in vited to attend We are planning to publish a school paper each month The staff will be organized within the next two weeks We are also pleased to announce that the addition of an extra truck has made transportation more con venient for both students and teach ers This makes it possible for all sttudents to get to school at 9 and leave at 4
