Ross Rizley discharged the jury which had received the case several hours before Mrs Morris testified she drove her station wagon into the side of a Kansas City Southern train at Westville November 18 1956 Her neck and left hand were broken in the collision She alleged her vision of the railroad crossing was obstructed by houses and trees and that a warning signal of the railroad at the crossing for Jackie Linn Erickson 5-week old son of Mr and Mrs Johnnie Erickson of Watts The baby passed away in a TEACE OFFICERS HOLD MEETING Members of the Northwest Arkansas Peace Officers association held a joint dinner meeting with peace officers of Northeastern Oklahoma at the Westville high school cafeteria last week The meeting was pesided over by Sheriff Hollis Spencer of Washington county Arkansas who is serving as president of the association Law enforcement officers of both states in this area cooperate with each other on various cases and he stated that each year one of the montly meetings of the association was held in Oklahoma thereby giving all officers an opportunity to become better acquainted with each other During the meeting talks were made by Spencer Pearl Watts chief of police of Fayetteville Akansas and Bost Westville banker In attendance were members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation peace officers and highway patrolmen from Siloam Springs Bentonville Rogers West Fork Huntsville Spring-dale and Fayetteville Arkansas Pryor Claremore Oklahoma City Tahlequah Stilwell and Westville Oklahoma Thomas Bright city marshal was in charge of arrangements for
