BLYTIIEVILLE COURIER NEWS FRIDAY, MARCH 4,1949 What joy it brings to children to feel the strong March winds blowing! Soon the skies will be dotted with tiny, colored kites, and grown-ups too will recall the thrills and pleasures of this sport. Man has always had a fascination for flying. Ancient myths and stories reveal man's desire to soar into the heavens, and the art of flying kites dates back four centuries before the Christian era. The enormous interest in modern aviation is not wholly due to its economic and commercial values, for there is a strange enchantment in sailing off into the heavens. in the desire of attaining great heights.

There is a kindred hope in the hearts of men. It is the fundamental desire for 3 higher, more exalted life hereafter. The Christian religion promises us a heavenly home if only our lives here on earth follow the teachings of Christ.
