17 18 19 20 Standings of Various Leagues Given The varsity Y. M. C. A. volleyball 1 team will play the Montgomery In Selma Wednesday night at 8:30 'Tn.

This will be the third Inset. lag of these teams. Selma has won two matches- and Montgomery one, but all three snatches have been Both teams are preparing for the southern tournament which is to be held in Atlanta March 25 and 26. The change of playing from the outdoor courts to the indoor court came after long discussion on the part of the committee. The committee feels that the offers the best place not only for the player but the spectator as well.

There will be.fouk tournaments-- Senior Boys Tournament and a junior Boys Tournament. A Senior Girls Tournament and A Junior Girls No players will be allowed. to play on both a junior afid a senior team. A junior may play on a senior team but a senior can not play on a junior team. Marion Janction now holds both of the Bewig Company cups in the senior tournament while Section Valley holds the junior boys cup and th Burnsville school the junior girls cup.

The Selma Time-Journal Offered both of these cups. Jordan is one of the best players that the high school has had. Long and Tepper have shown unusual ability in all of Lapsley and Watters have seen service in most of the and have given a good account of themselves. The other members -of' the squad are: Speed, Justice, Tuberville, Davis, Godwin, Simms and Lloyd. The team has played 15 games and ha lost only three, including the game lost at the State Tournament. The girls' team has had an equally successful season.
