Harmony Grove Hosts 'Flying Saucer' Convention New Locate for Several Escondido Businesses Planned Escondidos downtown business section in the next few months will experience a re-shuffling of several locations. It was announced Thursday by Jack McMahan, president of McMahan Furniture Stores, that the Escondido stores location will be moved in the Fall from 128 East Grand to 224 East Grand, presently occupied by Escondido Tire Supply Company. Escondido Tire Supply will soon be moving into a new building being constructed for it at 133 North Escondido Boulevard. In another business development, it was announced that the former Post Office building, located at the northeast corner of Grand and Ivy, has been purchased by the San Diego Paint Glass company which plans to open a branch here in about six weeks.

The San Diego firm purchased the building from Henry Joor. The property is reported to have been sold for a sum in excess of $50,000. Crow Realty Company handled the sale. Extensive remodeling of the building is expected to begin as soon as escrow is cleared in about two weeks. The babies, Rebecca, Christine, Penelope and Deborah, were born between 2:55 and 4:37 a.m. (PDT). Each weighed about two pounds. Hansen, 28, is an elementary school teacher. The couple, who also have a 10-month-old son, live in a trailer.

State Leads In Holiday Road Deaths Bv United Press International The Nations holiday death toll on the highways rose to 188 Saturday. In addition, 72 persons drowned, three died in plane crashes and 43 died in other accidents for a total of 306. California led the nation in traffic deaths with 20. The San Diego County group, with headquarters in El Cajon, operates stores in La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Imperial Beach, Pacific Beach, and Vista in addition El Cajon and Escondido. Two stores outside San Diego County dso are operated by the local groups, one in Torrance and the other in San Pedro.

President Continues Relaxing Weekend At Gettysburg Farm GETTYSBURG, Pa. (UPI) President Eisenhower laid out another take-it-easy holiday schedule for Saturday golf, bridge and relaxing with three grandchildren. He planned to get in another early round of golf before the worst of the heat set in, as he did Friday. ADN said East German authorities permitted the Americans to 9 talk at a news conference Thursday in a house in Dresden where the nine servicemen have been held since their Army helicopter was forced down in the Soviet zone June 7. The agency said Major George Kemper, 43, Escondido, who acted as the spokesman for the group, said th emen had been treated well. We were treated politely and correctly, ADN quoted Kemper, We are well taken care of. As to clothing, we have been given all that is necessary since we had nothing more than we were wearing. The food is good and we have been given cigarettes and sweets.

ADN said the men have three bedrooms, a dining room and a sunroom used as a club room set aside for them in Dresden. They can also use the garden of the house where there is opportunity for exercising sports, ADN said. For their entertainment, the servicemen have a television aet and newspapers, the agency said. The men have seen several movies, including the Soviet film The Cranes Fly, it added. ADN said Kemper replied in the negative to a question as to whether the communists tried to brainwash the helicopter crew.

Major Kemper clearly said no when he was asked whether attempts had been made to influence the men by propaganda, ADN said.
