Burrow, this office a pleasant cm last Tuesday and paid for a year's Press reading. Mr. Burrow is one of the Hanson good road boosters and says the Hanson people are all anxious for good roads and will resume work as soon as it rains. P. Seabolt who lives in the Black Jack vicinity. He says he has about 25 acres of corn of the Yellow Dent, White Wonder and Iowa Gold Mine varieties, which will average 35 bu. per acre, this, too, on up land that has been under cultivation" the past forfy years. This is some of the results of scientific farming.

Mr. Seabolt has a few acres of kaffer and fetritta (or, as John Fields calls it, fodder rinctum) which has made a remarkable growth produce an abundance of feed. He also has a small field of soja which will make excellent feed and has had hardly a drop of rain. The sooner farmers learn something besides cotton, just that soon will; they see better tim.es.
