FILE PHOTO Main Street Princess Anne is seeking applications for interested community members to two vacancies on its board of directors. The organization works to enhance, preserve, promote and facilitate growth in Princess Historic Downtown Main Street District. The board is comprised of a diverse group of representatives from commu- nity partners including University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Town of Princess Anne, Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce, SomersetCounty Eco- nomic Development, Somerset County Tourism, Main Street District business- es, property owners, and residents. Board members must be passionate about the success of Princess Anne, be available to attend monthly meetings, held the Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am, and be willing to assist with the direction and implementation of Main Street projects, programs, and events.

Sessions will be held from 1-2 p.m. every Tuesday at the Library and every Thursday starting May 23 at the Princess Anne Library.

Sessions will follow a walking work- out DVD program and be led by a Walk Somerset Walk leader. The program is low impact, easy to follow, for every body, and all levels. Those interested in participating in the program are encouraged to sign up by contacting the health department at 443-523-1719. Participants should bring comfort- able, non-restrictive clothing, walking shoes, and a water bottle. Low impact resistance bands will be provided.

Walk Somerset is a collaborative ef- fort by the Somerset County Health De- partment, Somerset County Recreation Parks, Somerset County Tourism, Main Street Princess Anne, Somerset County Department of Public Works, and several other community members.
