THE SUNDAY NEWS, LANCASTER, MAY 27, 1928 Page 12 I Places And Things In The Life Of James Buchananl THE LIBRARY I "WHEATLAND Here James Buchanan spent most of his time. The spacious, comfor table room is changed little from Buchanans day. The desk in the fore ground and the sofa in the right background were Buchanans. The phot was taken, by courtesy of Mr. Willson, last week.

WHEATLAND, HOME OF JAMES BUCHANAN "Wheatland, on the Marietta pike beyond President avenue, is practically unchanged today from the time it was occupied by James Buchanan nd his niece, Harriet Lane. Its present owner and occupant, Mr. George B. Willson, has kept the grounds and the interior of the home as nearly like they were during Buchanas life there as possible. Above is the newest picture of Wheatland, taken last week.
